What we believe

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the

Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith;

as it is written, "The just shall live by faith.”  Romans 1: 16-17 NKJV

Our Statement:

Community Church of the Sandia's is a non-denominational body of believers dedicated to the lordship of Jesus Christ and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Our Mission:

To love God's children and edify the family of saints.  To make disciples of Jesus Christ.  To develop spiritual gifts and equip the brethren to win spiritual battles.

Our Beliefs:

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,

for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle - I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying - a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

1 Timothy 2:5-7

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  Hebrews 13:8

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Only through belief and confession of these truths can anyone be saved.  John 14:6

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  Genesis 1:27

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.  2 Timothy 3:16-17

"And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. Joel 2:28-29

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."  John 10:27

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.  Hebrews 13:20-21

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. 1 Cor. 12:12-14

But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.  Hebrews 8:6-13
